As you may have read in our previous blog post, Hollywood’s hottest accessory is undoubtedly an adorable child. A little version of you, to be dressed up and fussed over, leaving you beaming with pride – and maybe a touch of envy! Mother daughter fashion has always gotten our attention, starting with Katie Holmes and Suri all the way to Kim Kardashian-West and North.
With this, whilst browsing the latest items from our kids department we found ourselves endlessly wishing we stocked a bigger size…
… and this is what we found.
Alexander McQueen, meet Ermanno Scervino.
The very Grecian, blue tile print was everywhere this summer season, but that doesn’t mean we have to stop there. Picture yourself and your little Goddess strolling around, feeling like you’re dawning the streets of Mykonos in this beautiful little duo.
Dolce & Gabbana
Dolce & Gabbana have clearly cottoned onto our concept with these Mother/Daughter floral trousers. Cherry red is extremely on trend at the moment and we just love it when designers make Winter florals work.
Chloe, meet Jean-Paul Gaultier.
What better way to feel like a Princess with your Princess, than in a fun tulle skirt. Jean-Paul Gaultier has created this beautifully sparkled mesh skirt, and we have found a (slightly more) grown-up version from Chloe, without compromising on any of the fun.
Mummy: Chloe Beige Chiffon Skirt M
Phillip Lim, meet Carolina Herrera.
We really are stealing our kids’ style with this one. A jumpsuit is everything we want; practical, stylish and oh-so cute in miniature. Finish yours with a pair of killer stilettos and get that girl in some patent ballet pumps, et voila!
Stella McCartney, meet Roma e Tosca.
Why oh why, is this Roma e Tosca dress not available for adults? As much as some of us may wish we could fit into an age 10, sadly those days are behind us. Instead, Stella McCartney is here to adhere to us, with a slinky silver number that adds a little shimmer to an otherwise relaxed and casual t-shirt fit dress.
Elie Saab, meet Dolce & Gabbana.
Glitz it up with these sequin skirts and be the belles of the ball. Sparkle is something we definitely don’t have to leave in our younger years anymore, with designers such as Elie Saab creating pieces that are both fun and grown-up!
