Our Style Icon this month lives a life so glamorous she will leave you in awe. Zeynab Elhelw, commonly known as “Fashion Pirate”, is a fashion icon, and shows us how it’s done. Zeynab is of Turkish Egyptian descent, and grew up in the UK. Fame and a more than successful social media presence wasn’t enough for this beauty, she is also a blossoming entrepreneur as well!
Zeynab has her own online blog and boutique called Fashion Pirate, which she started in 2014. On this site she shares her streetstyle looks and writes about her experiences, travels, and fashion looks while also displaying unique clothing and accessories for sale on her online boutique.
Zeynab’s Instagram account (@fashion_pirate) has an impressive following of 654,000 , and they are often amazed at her posts, which combine fashion, travel, beauty, and lifestyle. The blogger chronicles stunning pictures of her glam life, including creative looks she puts together and breathtaking snaps of her travels. Always on the go, Fashion Pirate can be seen in a different city each week, whether it’s Cannes, London, Cairo, or New York. Her busy life doesn’t stop her from taking time for her fans, and she often holds meet and greets to get to know them.
Fashion Pirate is well renowned for her casual street style looks, with her large fan base often following in her footsteps. She shows the world how to rock ripped jeans, a baggy tee, and a flannel shirt wrapped around her waist. She is also often spotted wearing eye-catching sneakers with her edgy ensembles. Fashion Pirate’s sense of style is proof that you don’t have to be in 6-inch heels and a dress everyday to be fashionable. However, this doesn’t stop the daring fashionista from occasionally dressing up in gorgeous designer gowns as she attend fancy galas and dinners. The trendsetter stuns in anything she puts together from sweatpants and a tank to a Carolina Herrera dress and a Bvlgari purse.
The Luxury Closet recently acquired a one-of-a-kind bag, a Hermes Red Porosus Crocodile Birkin, Encrusted with 18K worth of white gold diamonds. We wanted to show this unique bag off in a special way, and we thought Fashion Pirate would be the perfect candidate for a fun photoshoot. We had a shoot with Zeynab and the Birkin Bag at the Sofitel the Palm Dubai on a warm sunny day, and the pictures below are some examples of the final product, which we absolutely adored!. Her gorgeous ensembles worked perfectly with the bright red colour of the bag, and we had a great time shooting the photos. We are certain that Fashion Pirate doesn’t plan on slowing down anytime soon, and we look forward to seeing what’s next on this blogger/entrepreneur/fashionista’s to-do list!
