This week, I want to catch your attention with this bag and tell you its story.

The Christian Dior Granville Bag gets its name from the pictured childhood home of Mr. Dior in Granville, Normandy, France. If you have a close look at the house, called Villa Les Rhumbs, you can almost see it reflected in this bag.

DIor's Villa Les Rhumbs

Today, Villa Les Rhumbs has become a museum for this house of couture, displaying different exhibitions and dresses, while the purse itself had become an iconic piece for every fashionista.

The cannage pattern is bigger than the traditional Dior bags, which gives it a sensuous elegance unmatched by other collections. The removable strap makes it versatile and easy to carry, and the best part is that, when worn with the strap, this bag has a dropping handles design. This gives it a completely different and more chic look than when using the classic top handles. Its smooth beige lambskin is easy to match with any ensemble, and the interior features three compartments, two open and one zipped, with a top zip closure.

It is THE perfect bag for everyday use and, of course, it’s on TheLuxuryCloset.com!
